Don't despair, your majesties.-- Flora
This simple, small quote comes from Sleeping Beauty. Moments before Flora tells the king and queen this quote, an evil fairy, Maleficent, placed a spell on the baby princess. She knew that Merryweather, her fairy friend, had yet to give her gift, which would alter Maleficent's spell.
This quote also works well for anyone going through whatever hardship you can think of. There is always hope the situation will get better and no matter what it does no good to stay down for long. I know first hand how hard it can be to not despair/get down when things aren't going your way or when life throws you a curveball for whatever reason. I also know how wonderful it feels to have someone on your side telling you there is hope and to keep on working through whatever it is you're going through, even when there's a voice that says it's not worth it or it's hopeless. Now I get when a death occurs, it's ok to be sad and grieve, that's normal. What's not normal is to get so far down in the pits of despair you can't see your way out without help. If you feel like this is you, please reach out and ask someone, anyone, for help, even if it's just to vent your frustrations. Trust me, bottling up things is not good or healthy. As Flora says, don't despair. There are people willing to listen to you, even if you think they won't want to.
