Goodbye? Oh no! Can't we go back to page one and do it all over again?-- Winnie the Pooh, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
After The Narrator reads the last chapter title "In Which We Say Goodbye", Winnie the Pooh pipes up with this adorable quote, because he's had so much fun during his adventures.
Have you ever gone on an adventure that you never want to end? I know I have, especially when Disney is involved. Perhaps you were walking down by a creek with some friends and pretending you were Explorers looking for The Lost City of Gold, or perhaps you were pretending to battle the evil villains of one of your favorite TV shows. Perhaps you were spending time with your family and they kept telling you stories of days gone by while you were snapping beans or shelling peas. For those who have never snapped beans or shelled peas, it pretty much means what it says: you snap the ends of green beans and pull the strings off them or you snap the ends of peas and seperate the little peas from the pod. It's quite time consuming but yet so relaxing (voice of experiance). Maybe you've taken a week-long vacation to a theme park and you don't want to have to face whatever reality you're dealing with back home because you were having so much fun and were able to forget your troubles for a week. Maybe you were overseas and hiking through the mountains of Europe or taking in the many diffrent types of delacacies in Asia. Whatever your adventure was, did you have a time where you didn't want it to end and were sad to leave?
Sadly we all will have to deal with these feelings at least once in our lives. Hopefully we get to experiance it more than once! I myself deal with them on a near daily basis, especially when my blog is concerned. Then I realize I have a new quote for a diffrent day and I get cheered right back up becuase it's a new quote and a new adventure!
So until next time, have many adventures that leave you with this feeling and Keep Cooking with Character!
