Day 98: Think, think, think.-- Winnie the Pooh

Think, think, think.-- Winnie the Pooh, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

This comes to us several times when Winnie the Pooh tries to think about something. First it was for how to get hunny down from a tree, then another time he managed to forget his thought, and the last time he was trying to think how to get a fur cone down.

One thing I love about Winnie the Pooh is that he's a bear of very little brains who tends to forget a lot and still manages to make the best of every situation. Have you ever said this same thing yourself while you're thinking? I know I personally have. Sometimes it works to regain my thoughts and sometimes it doesn't. When it does, it works great, when it doesn't I'm not too worried.

Have you ever had a thought then lost it because someone talked to you while you're deep in it? Perhaps someone's bounced it right out of you like Tigger did Pooh. One thing that helps me with my ideas and thoughts is to write them down. I know it's been siad time and time again, but by gum it sure works! I get so many ideas that I want to remember to the point that I carry a small notebook on me at all times just so I won't forget. I've got one for work-related things, another for blog ideas and one more for the in-general stuff. Having the 3 pocket-and-purse sized notebooks helps me keep everything in order as my thoughts go every which way but in an organized straight line.  Do you use a notebook to keep track of all your thoughts or perhaps you have a good enough of a memory you don't need to.  However you gather your thoughts I hope it works for you. If it doesn't, it is perfectly fine and ok to try something new.  Perhaps if Pooh-bear knew how to write his thoughts in a journal he'd not forget so much!

So until next time, always remember to think and Keep Cooking with Character!
